After a week with iPad

  2. Screen looks great
  3. Play YouTube.
  4. Better mail & Gmail interface
  5. Super battery life.

Cons

  1. Still – Virtual Keyboard suck. Actually it better word prediction. Even old Windows Mobile 5 can do better on this.

Horrible default font size on Mac Mail

One thing I really don’t understand why the hack the default Mail font size so tiny. It is like font size 6. After months of using it, I couldn’t take any more because more and more my colleague email coming without right font so Mail switch using default size. After long search, I finally found the solution.

  1. Close Mail if it’s running
  2. Open Terminal
  3. Then type following command:
    defaults write com.apple.mail MinimumHTMLFontSize 13
  4. Start Mail program

That’s it! Problem solved.

Interesting feet machine

I was at Walmart and saw this latest gimmick machine to measure your feet pressure point and what shoes pad to get. Interesting machine and to see the pressure point. It took about 1 minute or so to get to final result. Suggested size for me 130. But each pack cost $49. I can get a new sport shoe on that price. Hem …. Does it really work?

Posted from my iPhone.

EOS 7D Firmware Update Version 1.2.1

img_2445 It has been 2 days since the Canon EOS 7D Firmware 1.2.1 released and it’s about time to upgrade mine. No news about issue on this new firmware. The fixes that I”m most interested is item 2 and 4 as following:

  1. Extends the timing at which the high temperature warning indicator is displayed and the timing of automatic shut down of the camera due to a rise in internal temperature during Live View or EOS Movie functions.
  2. Optimizes program shift when the ISO setting of the camera is set to AUTO.
  3. Corrects a misspelling in the French-language menu.
  4. Corrects a phenomenon in which vertical magenta-colored banding appears in still images taken in movie-shooting mode.
(This only occurs when in Manual exposure mode and when the ISO speed is set to “H”. Note that this phenomenon only affects units with Firmware Version 1.2.0)

Has you upgrade your? It’s good time to do so now especially weekend is coming.
