Apple new release – Magic Mouse

20 Oct

Today Apple updated a lot of Mac machines but what really excited me is the mouse, Magic Mouse. It has multi touch surface. Very nice!

Click on any surface as “left click” and small area only as “right click”. Just like my MacBook Pro multi touch pad. Very nice !

It has 360″ scroll, screen zoom, two-finder swipe to advance though the page. Again like MacBook Pro multi touch pad. Very nice!

You can find more info about Magic Mouse at Apple website: http://www.apple.com/magicmouse/

It’s time for me to replace my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse? Oh ya, I hate the old apple mouse, very hard to click on left and right buttons. That why I end up using “Windows” mouse.

Ops, it cost $69.00. That a bit too much. May be I wait till there like 50% off? But can I wait ….

“Lanterns Festival”

07 Oct

“It’s time of year again, where we eat mooncake and at night time we will play lanterns, celebrate Moon Festival”  This year we actually spent more time on evening on lantern. We were hoping kids would love it. Well, they did on “high tech” lantern.

On first day – Hian family bought couple of candle lanterns for their and ours kids. So we met up in everning after dinner. We, as parents were eagerly to get ready – make sure the candle stable and stick in the center, time flied, by the time we were ready, the weather turn back on us, windy. Well, we tried but my kids were more interested on his buddy toys. Only my little gal, Leticia was interested in it. I guess:

  1. Parents were very careful, and asking them not swing or move too fast, blaa blaa. So limit their movement. I admit it, I was worry. What happened it the lantern burn and drop on indoor. ….
  2. Fear of fire
  3. Cold that night and windy.

The second night, pastor David gave my kids 3 “high tech” lanterns. They were LED power by batteries. Kids love them. Almost no body care what they will do with it since there no really any danger  like “real lantern”. The moment we got home, kids started asking me to close all the windows. They start playing with them. Evening came, we went out – walk around and mom told them a old story. Then Sue family joined at the parked. It was great night for us and the kids.
