Office light part 2

29 Jul

Initially I was planning to get 2 fluorescent tube lamps but instead I bought 100W lamp (day light color) to replaced my existing 50W. Big improvement especially the color not so yellowdish now but still require a bit more light. The top picture is taken after I replaced with 100W lamp day light color:

May be I should try 150W soft light … or 2 fluorescent tube? hunting continue ….

Dark Room

23 Jul

I am having light problem for sometime now especially in my home office. As you can see from the picture, the light was on but it was still dim. In fact I have to use study light whenever I read a book in there. You can tell there was a small light shine the book and yet it’s still brighter then room’s light. Looks at those both monitors – how bright there are even though their brightness are set to around 5 out of 100.Oh ya, I took this photo at 3pm today.

So the plan is to make the room BRIGHT. Possible make it like a day light. I am planning to stop by at home depot today and see what is my option. I’m hoping to use same light for photo section on iphone, books, cases, gadget … for upcoming review.

Updated: Actually the planned was changed. Just before I left the house that day, I got interrupted and ended doing something else. Long story short, I just got it today (Sunday, 07 26,2009). I will soon post the photo how it’s. Much better

Google Desktop Support 64bit

09 Jul

Finally my wait is over for Google Desktop to support Vista 64 bits. It just happened a mins ago I need to do a search on my documents and email to find old project requirement, and I was thinking, I wish I had Google Desktop installed. I know when I got my new machine, it didn’t support 64 bits. Nevertheless, I just did a quick search with ‘no-hope’ in mind.

I am really suprices and excited when I saw that yesterday Google release 64 bit version!
